“Anthroposophy is not mere learning like any other (it’s based on clairvoyance). The ideas that Anthroposophy presents and the words it uses are not meant as abstract theory (how else can one view clairvoyant revelations to a racist Austrian)?. Anthroposophical ideas are not shaped in the way other kinds of learning have been shaping ideas for the past several centuries (no not based on peer reviewed research, they have used a sprirtual jump of sorts. But they jumped backwards!); words are not used the same as they are elsewhere. Anthroposophical ideas are vessels fashioned by love fear and we are summond possessed  by the spiritual world to partake of their content perversity. Anthroposophy must bring the light of true humanness to shine out in thoughts that bear love’s imprint (after livind amoung anthroposophists for two years, I’d have to point out, that this concept was not obsevable in the community): knowledge is only the form in which we reflect our heart’s receiving the light of the world spirit that has come to dwell in our heart and from our heart illumine human thought (absolute rubbish, they do not live this!). Since Anthroposophy cannot really be grasped except by the power of love, it is love-engendering when human beings take it in a way true to its own nature. Words expressing Anthroposophical truths are not like words spoken elsewhere today (true, there’s much gobbledygook); rightly conceived, they are all really reverential pleas that the spirit make itself known to us (opps I better move my ecologically sound diesal SUV).”

They are pretty much free to go where they please. [not in this world, without keeping their mouths shut]  Some of the other material on the page is also interesting. For instance, “The black man is an egotist [seems to me that it was ‘steiner’ who was an egotist. Most anthropops I have met fit the bill most clearly](Der Schwarze is ein Egoist) who absorbs all light and warmth (der nimmt Licht und alle Wärme auf).”  Steiner explains that the dark skin of “Schwarzes” drinks in sunlight, which is why Negroes are overheated internally [he was serious?]. Anthroposophists rarely translate this material into English or discuss it outside their private gatherings.

“The Mystery of Golgotha stands at the center of the whole human evolution on Earth. The fact that the Mystery of Golgotha entered history at a moment when the Greeks strove to set forth the divine in man from an external aspect, from the aspect of the Earth, as it were, should not be considered as a historical coincidence. We might say, and this is more than a poetical image: The Greeks had to set forth the divine in man artistically, out of the ingredients of the Earth, and the cosmos sent down to the Earth the God who entered man, as a cosmic answer to the wonderful question sent out into the world’s spaces, as it were, by the Greeks. In the historical development we may sense, as it were, that with their humanly portrayed gods the Greeks addressed the following question to the universe: Can Man become a God? And the universe replied: God can become Man. This reply was given through the event of the Mystery of Golgotha.”

Then there is this article on Golgotha from Wikipedia. Here is the “Biblical” attitude to Golgotha. Think about what is and has been said. steiner sure pushes the envelope with his clarvoyance.

What is anthroposophy?

Anthroposophy is a human oriented spiritual philosophy that reflects and speaks to the basic deep spiritual questions of humanity, to our basic artistic needs, to the need to relate to the world out of a scientific (occult) attitude of mind, and to the need to develop a relation to the world in complete freedom and based on completely individual judgments (as long as one conforms to the ideology) and decisions. A more detailed description would possibly point to four basic aspects and levels of anthroposophy: 1. Anthroposophy is a spiritual philosophy, mainly developed by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century (not appropriate for our time or country). It is born out of a philosophy of freedom,(conformity) living at the core of anthroposophy. For more on anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner from this perspective, see here, here and here. 2. It is a path of knowledge or spiritual research, (dreaming or claivoyance) developed on the basis of European (aryan)idealistic philosophy, rooted in the philosophies of Aristotle, Plato, and Thomas Aquinas. It is primarily defined by its method of research (done while asleep), and secondly by the possible knowledge or experiences this leads to. From this perspective, anthroposophy can also be called spiritual (occult) science. As such, it is an effort to develop not only natural scientific, but also a spiritual scientific research on the basis of the idealistic (aryan) tradition, in the spirit of the historical strivings, that have led to the development of modern science.

“In June, 1910, Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy, began a speaking tour of Norway with a lecture to a large and attentive audience in Oslo.  The lecture series was titled “The Mission of National Souls in Relation to Nordic-Germanic Mythology.”  In the Oslo lectures Steiner presented his theory of “folk souls” or “national souls” (Volksseelen in German, Steiner’s native tongue) and paid particular attention to the mysterious wonders of the “Nordic spirit.”  The “national souls” of Northern and Central Europe belonged, Steiner explained, to the “Germanic-Nordic” peoples, the world’s most spiritually advanced ethnic group, which was in turn the vanguard of the highest of five historical “root races.”  This superior fifth root race, Steiner told his Oslo audience, was naturally the “Aryan” race. 1If this peculiar cosmology sounds eerily similar to the teutonic myths of Himmler and Hitler, the resemblance is no accident.  Anthroposophy and National Socialism both have deep roots in the confluence of nationalism, right-wing populism, proto-environmentalist romanticism and esoteric spiritualism that characterized much of German and Austrian culture at the end of the nineteenth century.  But the connection between Steiner’s racially stratified pseudo-religion and the rise of the Nazis goes beyond mere philosophical parallels.  Anthroposophy had a powerful practical influence on the so-called “green wing” of German fascism.  Moreover, the actual politics of Steiner and his followers have consistently displayed a profoundly reactionary streak. 2″ Read more here at the Institute for Social Ecology.
